Description
The repository bundles 13 specialized sub-skills and 5 subagents running in parallel around the /geo audit command. Among other things, it checks the citability of text passages for AI answers, access for known AI crawlers via robots.txt, the llms.txt file, brand mentions on platforms such as YouTube, Reddit, Wikipedia, and LinkedIn, schema markup, technical SEO fundamentals, and content quality according to the E-E-A-T model. A composite GEO score from 0 to 100 summarizes the partial results, available as a Markdown or PDF report with charts.
Additional skills cover lightweight prospect and quote management as well as monthly delta reports, which are stored outside the Claude Code directory under ~/.geo-prospects/. The project is open source under the MIT license, and the Python dependencies run isolated in their own virtual environment, so the system Python remains untouched. A paid community for the commercial marketing of GEO audits is promoted around the tool, but the actual skill package remains usable independently of it.
For Voyage Digital, geo-seo-claude is primarily relevant as a reference for its own GEO workstream, specifically as a comparison point for the self-maintained geo skills in the AI Hub.
