    Description

    Strengths

    Parallel execution
A full site audit spawns up to 15 specialist agents simultaneously, completing a site-level audit in minutes rather than hours.
    Traceable recommendations
Every recommendation carries its underlying observation, its dependency on other points, a check for how failure would be detected, and a leading indicator, instead of generic advice.
    Broad test coverage
The test suite grew from 39 tests in version 1.9.9 to 410 across the v2 line, including 91 cases dedicated to SSRF and DNS-rebinding protection alone.
    Tiered access to data
A four-tier credential system lets you start with zero API keys and still get real value at every level, up to connected Google and third-party data.

    Assessment

    AI features

    • Full site audit The `/seo audit` command spawns parallel sub-agents and delivers a prioritized action plan for the entire site.
    • Single-page analysis `/seo page` checks a single page for on-page elements, content quality and schema markup.
    • Schema markup check `/seo schema` detects, validates and generates structured data, including generators for Reservation, OrderAction, DiscussionForumPosting and ProfilePage as well as e-commerce-specific markup.
    • AI visibility (GEO) `/seo geo` assesses the citability of text passages and derives recommendations aligned with primary sources, following Google's AI Optimization Guide.
    • Content quality checks A filler detector and an AI-pattern humanizer are keyed to QRG sections 4.6.5 and 4.6.6, complemented by a claim-verification scanner and a WHOIS-based check for expired-domain heritage.
    • PDF reports Full audits can also be exported as a multi-page PDF report via WeasyPrint with matplotlib charts.

    Suitable for

    • SEO agencies that manage multiple client sites and want to automate recurring in-depth audits
    • In-house SEO managers who need a structured second look at their own site before reporting or reviews
    • Freelance SEO consultants who want to build trust in an initial conversation with a fast, traceable audit
    • Teams that want to check schema markup and AI visibility (GEO) alongside classic SEO in one pass

    Limitations and notes

    • Requirements The tool only runs inside Claude Code. SPA rendering and screenshots additionally require an optional Playwright Chromium installation.
    • Data depth depends on credentials Without Google API access for Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, CrUX and GA4, enriched field and Search Console data stays unavailable; the four-tier credential system needs to be set up actively via `/seo google setup`.
    • Two version lines The public open-source version runs stably with public releases under the MIT license; new features land first in a private community mirror that requires AI Marketing Hub Pro membership.

    Quick start

    1. Add the plugin marketplace in Claude Code: `/plugin marketplace add AgriciDaniel/claude-seo`
    2. Install the plugin: `/plugin install claude-seo@agricidaniel-claude-seo`
    3. Check the setup with `/seo doctor`, which automatically creates an isolated Python environment and installs Playwright Chromium
    4. Run a full site audit: `/seo audit https://example.com`
    5. Check specific areas as needed, for example `/seo page` for a single page, `/seo schema` for schema markup, or `/seo geo` for AI visibility

    Tips

    • On Windows, cloning the repository manually is preferable to a direct remote-script invocation, since it lets you inspect the install script beforehand.
    • Google credentials can be set up incrementally via `/seo google setup`; no specific tier is mandatory.
    • For single-page applications, the `--render auto` option triggers automatically detected SPA rendering, for example on Next.js, React, Vue, Nuxt or Astro islands.
    • For first client conversations, a quick `/seo audit` run works well to show a concrete score and prioritized findings during the call itself.
