Description
Stitch generates complete UI screens from a natural-language description, a sketch, or a reference image, including multi-step screen flows across several connected views. Results can be refined iteratively via chat, individual elements can be swapped out in a targeted way, and existing design systems can be imported as a basis, so that generated screens stay visually closer to your own look and feel. Besides standard text input, the tool also supports voice-driven input for describing a desired screen.
The end result is not just an image but exportable material for the next step: screens can be handed off to Figma or exported directly as frontend code, which positions Stitch closer to an ideation tool for the transition between concept and implementation than to a classic image-generation tool.
As a Google Labs product, Stitch is explicitly positioned as experimental. Quality on simple, single screens is convincing, while complex multi-screen flows with many states usually take several rounds of iteration. For the final, pixel-perfect execution, a full-fledged design tool remains the more dependable choice. Stitch is strongest in the early concept phase.
Stitch is part of the active Voyage stack for fast wireframes and initial screen concepts, before an existing design system is applied to them.
