Description
The Persona Grid takes your existing customer data, identifies patterns in it, and works out two to three clearly distinguishable buyer personas. Each persona covers eleven dimensions, from demographic details through pain points and purchase criteria to trigger events and a concrete messaging recommendation. This turns a vague idea of your target audience into a working tool that marketing, sales and product development can actually use, rather than a document that ends up in a drawer.
The grid is built for teams who already think about their target audience in segments but have not yet built differentiated personas from them, for example before setting up a new campaign, a new offer or a content plan.
The limitation: without real customer data or CRM insights, personas remain assumptions. The grid flags this in the result, but it does not replace validation with real customers or with the sales team. For strongly heterogeneous or very small customer groups, splitting into three cleanly distinguishable personas can reach its limits.
