Description
Gmail organizes email through labels instead of rigid folders, a highly capable full-text search, and filter rules that automatically sort, forward, or archive incoming mail. The Business plans add a Gemini side panel that drafts messages, summarizes long threads, and suggests replies, alongside the established Smart Compose and Smart Reply features for faster everyday writing.
The Gmail API lets you connect the mailbox to your own workflows, for example to automatically read incoming requests, send notifications from an automation tool, or integrate with Zapier, Make, or n8n. Gmail is closely linked with Calendar, Meet, Drive, and Tasks, so events, files, and tasks can be created directly from an email.
The honest limit: Gmail is a personal and business mailbox, not a tool for email marketing or bulk sending. For newsletters, campaigns, and automated transactional emails, dedicated email marketing and transactional providers with deliverability management and compliance features are the better choice.
