Description
The Contract Screener works through a contract in a few minutes and surfaces what actually matters for a business decision. It captures the contract type, parties, term and volume, extracts the 5 to 8 most critical clauses (payment, liability, termination, confidentiality, warranty, insurance, escalation, ownership), and ranks each one by risk: high, medium or low. The result is a one-page executive summary, a clause table, concrete negotiation points in the format problem, solution, argument, and a checklist to run through before signing.
It is built for executives, procurement leads and project managers at small and mid-sized companies who need to review contracts regularly and cannot or do not want to commission a full legal analysis every time. It creates the preliminary clarity that makes a conversation with the counterparty or with legal counsel more focused.
What it deliberately does not do: it does not replace an in-depth legal review, makes no binding legal statements, and does not speculate about the counterparty's intentions. Where context is missing, it flags the affected statement as an assumption rather than presenting it as established fact.
